THE T.B. COW
Sir, —It is the stock inspector's duty to visit farms and condemn TJB. cows. His duty seenm to end there. He orders ithem to be driven to the nearest saleyards, often IS! or 20 miles distant. The usual drover drives them with Ihealthv, strong stock, and it is cruet to see the poor old cows trying to k<rep up, panting and often with their tongues out. They are driven on next day, but I do not know what is done with them after that. I think the inDpeotor should have power to shoot diseased cattle on the farm, and order the owner to burn .or bury the bodies. A Farmer.
