ROTORUA INTERESTS
Mrs. David Blackley, of New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. R. Griffiths at Hotel Arawa.
Miss Jean Blackfey, who arrived with her mother, Mrs. D. Blackley, is the guest of Sister Mitchell, King Street. S Mrs. F. W. Wilkie has returned from New Plymouth. Miss Tong, of New Plymouth, is the" guest of her sister, Mrs. F. W. Wilkie. Mrs. J. Banks, of Whakarewarewa, has returned from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. G. Foote, of Whangarei. Mrs. Clive Young, who has been on an extended holiday, is returning to Rotorua to-morrow.
Mrs. J. Heskett is spending a holiday at St. Helier's Bay. Mrs. E. Crawford, Arawa Street, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Mason, Church of England missionary in the Milasia Islands, in the Melanesia Group, was the guest of the Rev. and Mrs. R. Hodgson, of Hinemoa Street, during the week-end. Miss O. Shultz, of Rotorua, has re* turned from a visit to Ashburton. A delightful dance \Vas given in St. Luke's Hall during the week by Mr. and Mrs. W. Winslade for their daughter, Jean. Thte hall was beautifully decorated' with masses of richly coloured autumn flowers. Two novelty dances included in the dance programme were won by Misses 0. Shultz and N.
