EX-SOLDIERS' REUNION
gathering in paeroa [by telegraph —own correspondent] PAEROA, Thursday A successful reunion was held by the Paeroa-Hauraki Returned Soldiers' Association last evening, tho president, Major E. Edwards, presiding over an attendance of about 150 returned men The guests of honour were Colonel Sir Stephen Allen and LieutenantColonel A. M. Samuel, M.P. Also present were visitors from the Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Thames,, Waikato and Waihi associations. Several toa.sts were honoured and addresses wore given by Sir Stephen Allen and LieutenantColonel Samuel. The president reported that the membership of the association was 132.
