5 ANNUAL MEETING ARRANGED SENIOR GRADE NOMINATIONS 1 The Auckland Ilugby League, at its - meeting last evening, decided to hold i the annual meeting on April 9. The . chairman, Mr. G. Grey-Campbell, stated 5 that nominations for the senior grade . competition would bo considered a week . later. It was decided to approve a recommendation of the ladies' committee to hold ' a ball curly in May to mark the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty the King, patron of the League code. OTAHUHU CLUB A satisfactory position in the affairs of the Otahuhu Rugby League Football Club was reported at the annual meeting. The report and balance-sheet revealed a healthy position, the report stating that prospects were bright for the coming season. Caps were presented to the second grade team, and caps to C. Kelly and F. Philp, who were selected as the most conscientious players last season. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron. Mr W. W. Massey. M.P.; president. Wednesday The annual meeting of the City Rugby League Club disclosed a successful season. The credit balance on the year's opera : tions was substantial. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. J. G. Barclay (re-elected); president, Mr. J. Jones; secretary, Mr. Crowley; treasurer, Mr. I'. Jones; club captain, Mr. Crowley, delegate to the North Auckland Ru«by League, Mr. Morton; selector and coach, Mr. R. Baker.
