In the world's professional running championships E. Tolan (United States) -won the 220 yds. race from W. Macfarlane (Scotland) with A. Robertson (Austrlia) third. The winner's time was 21isecs„ Robertson won the 130 yds. event from T. J. Roberts (Australia), with Tolan third. Robertson's time was 12 G-16secs. The championship was decided on a points system, 5 for a win, 3 for second and 1 for third. The results of the races decided last week were:—7syds. t Tolan, 1; Robertson, 2; Roberts, 3. 100 yds: Tolan. 1; Roberts, 2; Robertson, 3. The final pdints scored by the runners in the series were:—Tolan, 16; Robertson, 10; Roberts, 7; Macfarlane, 3.
