LIGHTNING PROTECTION [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] TE KUITI, Thursday A decision to spend £sll on lightning protection for the generating plant at Wairere Falls and to ha\'e the stator rewound at a lower voltage so that another 200 h.p. could be generated when required was made by the Wairero Electric-Power Board yesterday. The stator is at present in Sweden, where it will be rewound, lightning having put it out of action.
