BANK MANAGER RETIRES

LONG PERIOD OF SERVICE! [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday Tlio manager of the Frankton branch of tho Hank of New Smith Wales, Mr. W. D. Ross, will retire at the end of this month, after 47 years' service. Mr. Ross joined the bank at Christclurrch and came from Eltliam to Frankton 11 years ago. He will bo succeeded by Mr. R. H. Smith, of Christchurch.
