EARTHQUAKE IN CRETE
SEVERITY OF DAMAGE GOVERNMENT SENDS HELP LONDON, Feb. 26 The Athens correspondent of the Times says that six people were killed and 60' injured in the earthquake in Crete, also that 230 houses collapsed and 560 were damaged. The Government lias despatched tents and has allotted £I9OO to erect an earthquakeproof wing on the Candia Museum.,
