ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY
FAREWELL TO MEMBER A member of St. Andrew's Society ladies' auxiliary, Mrs. A. Middleton, who will leave shortly to take up her residence in Wellington, was farewelled by the president and committee of the society at an enjoyable morning tea party held in the Farmers' Trading Company's tea rooms yesterday morning. The tables were charmingly decorated with lili 11 m auratum.
The president, Mrs. J. K. Black, expressed regret'at Mrs. Middleton's impending departure and presented her with a bouquet of zinnias tied with Royal Stuart tartan ribbon. Several members also spoke, after which Mrs. Middleton expressed her thanks for the charming farewell extended to her. Those present were: —Mrs. J. K. Black, Mrs. W. H. Tongue, Mrs. A. E. Middleton, Mrs. «T. W. Bissett, Mrs. J. P. Lornie, Mrs. A. Muirhead, Mrs. 1). McLaren, Mrs. T). McCrone, Mrs. John Budge, Mrs. C. S. Kolin, Mrs. P. G. Wright, Mrs. J. Barbour, Mrs. J. Morton, Mrs. G. Spicer, Mrs. W. McKain, Mrs. G. Gilmour, Mrs. J. Dickie, Mrs. Wheeler, Airs. 1. Massicks, Mrs. *M. Allen, Mrs. H. Pickering, Mrs. H. Urquhart, Mrs. H. A. Marshall, Mrs. J. B.
