WHANGAREI INTERESTS
Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Wilson and Miss Karl Wilson, of Portland, and Mrs. G. H. Morrish, of Whangarei, have returned after motoring through to Auckland for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Basley, of Commanded have taken up their residence in Hunt Street, Whangarei. Mrs. S. H- Ward and family, who spent the school vacation at Matapouri, have returned to their home, Bank Street, Whangarei. Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Webber, of Nixon Street, Whangarei, who have been on a motor tour of the South, including Tauranga and the Lakes district, have returned. Mrs. L. Jevers, England, who has been visiting her brother, the Rev. H. T. Steele, Whangarei, has left by the Coptic for England. . Mrs P S. N. Conncll, Powhiri Avenue, Whangarei, has returned after a holiday spent at the Great Barrier, Matapouri and Onerahi. Mrs. F. Higginson, Hospital Road. Whangarei, has returned after \ isiting Auckland.
Mrs. C. Bisset, Manse Street, Whangarei, is spending a holiday in laranaki.
Mrs. T. S. E. Sloane, Dinniss Avenue, Whangarei, is spending a holidav at Parua Bay.
Mr. and Mrs. D. O'Donoghue, Mill Road, Whangarei, have returned after a holiday spent in Hawke's Bay Mrs. E. J. Parkes and Miss Jean Stewart, Whangarei, motored to Auckland for a few days' holiday. Miss M. Thorburn, Mount Eden, is spending her holidays at Onerahi and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Curtis.
Mrs. W. Edgar and family, who have been spending a holiday at Thames, have returned home. Miss Pat Hickey, of Tarauaki, is visiting Paparoa. Mrs. W. Burns, of Towai, is spending a few days in Auckland. Miss Treacy, recently appointed headmistresS| of the Okaihan Public Works Department School, has taken up her new duties.
Mrs. G. de Tavettes, of Mission Bay, Auckland, who has been spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. Hansen, Kohukphu, has returned home.
Mrs. G. Page, and her daughter Shirley, of Kohukohu, are visiting Auckland. Mrs. McKinnon, of Waikato, who has been .spending a holiday at Kohukohu, has returned to her home. Mrs. Craigie, of Otorohanga, and Mrs. Booth and Mrs. Lawrance, of Dunedin, have returned home after spending a holiday with their father and sister, the Rev. J. D. McFarlane, and Miss McFarlane, at the Manse, Waipu. Mrs. F. 0. Middleton, Waipu, is spending a holiday in the South. Mr. and Mrs. R. Kay, of Hamilton, am visiting relatives at Waipu. Mr. and Mrs. J. Kav, al' Waipu, who have been spending a holiday in the Waikato, hate returned homo.
