DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS NOMINATIONS IN ALL EVENTS Numerous entries have been received by the Auckland Swimming Centre for the New Zealand championship meeting, which will take place next Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Heats of the swimming contests will be decided at the Tepid Baths in the mornings of Saturday, Monday and Wednesday, and the finals in the evenings. However, the three heats of the 100 yds men's free-style will be swum on Friday morning. The men's and ladies' diving championships will be contested at the eastern tide deflector on Tuesday afternoon, simultaneously with the annual handicap race of three miles for the Annette Kellerman Cup. MOUNT EDEN CARNIVAL AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE Heading the. programme for the Mount Eden Amateur Swimming Club's carnival in the Mount Eden Baths this evening are tlie 50yda championship of Auckland and tho 50yds first-class handicap, in which southerners here for the Dominion meeting will be competitors. The Otago champion and New Zealand record-holder for 50yds, W. J. Jarvis, has consented to give an exhibition 6wim. The contestants for the 50yds title will be the holder, R. B. Frankham, N. Crump, S. Lazarus, B. O'Connor and A. C. Bagnall, and they are certain to provide an extremely fast and thrilling race. The large number of supporting handicap races have attracted entries from Auckland's most accomplished performers. Spectacular events will be the diving championship of the Mount_ Eden Club, of which the national champion, W. Hassan, is a member, and a display by local and visiting divers.
