CLAIM AGAINST COMPANY . WIDOW'S ACTION FAILS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] BLENHEIM, Monday In a judgment delivered to-day Mr. Justice Blair non-suited Winifred Gertrude Maindonald, widow, of Christchurch, in her claim against New Zealand Airways, Limited. Timaru, for £SOOO damages arising out of the death of her husband, Edgar Thomas Maindonald, in an aviation accident at Blenheim on September 24, 1933. Originally the Marlborough Aero Club, which owned the wrecked machine, was co-defendant in the action, but plaintiff was non-suited as regards the club at the time of the hearing of the case. His Honor reserving his decision so far as New Zealand Airways, Limited, was concerned.
