EXCURSIONS TO BEACH
MOUNT MAUNGANUI CROWDS [by telegraph—owx correspondent] TAURANGA, Monday The popularity of Mount Maunganui was exemplified yesterday, when three heavily-laden trains arrived with excursionists from Tanentua, Te Kuiti and Frankton. The total number of passengers was 2280, and of this number 1230 travelled by the Te Kuiti train. A train from Thames was linked at Paeroa with the train from Frankton. The visitors enjoyed a glorious dav. ! v
