SCHOOL DENTAL CLINIC
WORK AT TE AWAMUTU [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU. Monday The project to erect a new building for the Te Awamutu District Dental Clinic was advanced a further stage at tho annual meeting of the committeo. The secretary reported that practically £2OO had already been raised toward tho cost, estimated at £IOO, and it was confidently expected that a further sum would be available very shortly. Tenders had been called for the building. Tho past year's operations showed that the two nurses were fully occupied, and four new schools were being served.
It was decided to make the levy for tho current j'ear 3s 6d a child, reducible to 3s for prompt payment through tho school committee. The following executive was elected: —Messrs. G. 13. Melrose, chairman (Te Awamutu), S. H. West (Pokuru), A. S. Wyllie (Tokanui), E. Thomson (Kikikihi), G. Hall (Hairini), J. M. Boyd (Ohaupo), and G. O. Jourdiam, hon. secretary .(Te Awamutu).
