REWARDS FOR CAPTURE THE TUNGCHOW OUTRAGE SEARCH FOR MARAUDERS CANTON'S ACTIVE MEASURES By Telegraph—Tress Association—Cop.vricht (Received February 5. 7.55 p.m.) HONGKONG. Feb. 5 The Canton Government has offered a reward of 5000 dollars and the owners of the steamer Tungchow one of * 2500 dollars for the capture of the chief of the pirates who seized and looted the vessel on January 29 and killed a Russian guard. The Canton authorities have sent a regiment of troopp to the Bias Bay area from Waichow, also troops from Canton, in search of the pirates. The Government is taking active and strenuous measures to effect the apprehension of tlie marauders. It lias given special orders to magistrates and troops in the area. It- is learned that the British destroyer Decoy, which has returned to Hongkong, landed a number of Chinese troops in the Swabue area.
