[AUTUMN TOTAL THE SAME SMALL WINTER INCREASE CHANGE IN HACK CONDITIONS The allocation of prize-money for the autumn and winter meetings at Ellerslie was decided upon by the committee of the Auckland Racing Club yesterday. The Easter Handicap, the principal race on the autumn programme, carries ft stake of £BOO, and the Autumn Handicap, on the second day, is worth £6OO. Last year the Autumn Handicap was called the H. The only other difference in the autumn programme is that the Great Northern Champagne Stakes, entries for which were taken ast June, is now six furlongs instead of seven, which it has been since 1030. Increase in Winter Stakes The increase of £376 in the winter prize-money is accounted for principally by the addition of £25 to the stake for each of the 11 hack events, flat, hurdle and steeplechase, all now being of the value of £275.
