FALSE PRETENCES
LABOURER FOR SENTENCE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday A labourer, Michael William Augustus Lynch, aged 30, was found guilty in the Supreme Court to-day of obtaining £l3l 13s from Arthur James Anderson at Feilding by falsely representing that £520 was due to him from his father's estate; of committing forgery by writing a bogus letter with the intention that it should be acted upon as genuine; and of sending two telegrams allegedly signed by his sister with the intention that they should be acted upon as genuine. Accused was remanded for sentence.
