DEEP-SEA FISHING

VISITOR FROM AMERICA A visit in the near future to the deep-sea fishing waters at Russell is to be made by Dr. R. L. Sutton, Professor of Dermatology at the University of Kansas, United States, and prominent big-game hunter and fisherman, who was a through passenger on the Monterey yesterday. Dr. Sutton, who is accompanied by Mrs. Sutton, said he would return to Auckland by the Monterey on February 9.

Dr. Sutton has published books on sport and medicine. He contributes regularly to Outdoor Life and Sports Afield in the United States. When he lias sampled the sport, to be obtained in North Auckland he intends to write descriptive articles about it. "I think New Zealand is one of the greatest recreation grounds in the world," he said.
