Barnctt (Te Awamutu), L. Coombcs (Nomads), R Snowden (Te Awamutu), I. James (Nomads). N. Rusden (Te Awamutu), S. Shepherd (United), Walsh (Nomads), Cell (Te Awamutu) C Bowden (Te Awamutu), and another WHANGAREI COMPETITIONS [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Friday Only one match was played yesterday in the Thursday championship competition of the Whangarei Cricket Association. The match resulted as follows:—Albion B, 70 (Madrlen 24, Angelo 11, Nordstrand 10), defeated Old Boys, 49 (Kelly 12, Watson 12). Bowling for Old Boys, Norris took five wickets for 24 and P. Brunnette four for 25. For Albion, Wilton took five wickets for 10. High School defaulted to Albion A.
