Thursday After being in the possession of one family since 1875, a section in Manners Street, Wellington, has changed hands for about £IO.OOO cash. The property, which stands at tho corner of Manners Street and Luke's Lane, originally formed part of the Te Aro Maori pa. It was acquired in 1875 bv the late Mr. James Helver from a native chief, Te Wheru. At that time the section was occupied by a wooden building used as a mission house, which was subsequently converted into business premises. The section has a frontage of 40ft. to Manners Street and 100 ft. to Luke's Lane.
