GAMING HOUSE CHARGE
INTERPRETER REMANDED An interpreter, George Geelong Paul, aged 61 (Mr. Wilson), appeared in the Police Court before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., yesterday, on a charge of using premises in Queen Street as a common gaming house. On the application of counsel, accused was remanded until Wednesday. Bail was renewed in the sum of £IOO, with one surety for a similar amount. WELLINGTON PROSECUTION HAIRDRESSER FINED £SO [BY TKI.EGRArn —PRKSS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A hairdresser, Joseph MeCabe, was fined £SO in the Police Court to-day for keeping promises as a common gaming house. Frederick William Harding was fined £1 for,, being found in a common gaminghouse.
