THE YEAR AT GISBORNE ' ELEVEN PETITIONS FILED [by TELEGRAPH —OWN" correspondent! GISBORNE, Wednesday There were five fewer bankruptcies in Gisborne in 1934 than in 1933, and the amount of the debts proved was lower by £74,868. Eleven petitions were filed last year and all were hv debtors, whereas in 1933 there were 13 adjudications on debtors' petitions and three on creditors' petitions. Fourteen discharges were granted last year.
