TOURNEY AT GREY LYNN Sixteen teams took part in a full-rink tourney held by the Grey Lynn Bowling Club. In_ section A Gadd. Cadness (Grey Lynn), Noton (Carlton) and Binns (Auckland) tied. Hill (Carlton I, . French (Carlton) and Darbv (West End) tied in section B.

Ties will be played off to-morrow at 1.30

FRANKTON PAIRS TOURNEY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday The Frankton Junction Bowling: Club's pairs tourney was completed yesterday, the winners being McFarlane and Hampson, who were undefeated with six wins. The rurners-up were Salter and Harper, with five wins and one draw. Other results wereCooney, four wins and two losses; Frost, Rowe, Wheeler, three wins and three losses; Bond, two wins, two losses and two draws; Hawkins, two wins, three losses and one draw; Rockell, Cann. Stendman, Tibbits (Kensington), 22. Following are details of to-day's play:— First Section. —Fourth round: Walder, 21, v. Whitelaw, 19; Orr, 22, v. Stringer, 10; Tibbits, 20, v. Courtney, 19: Curtis won by default. Fifth round: Courtney, 25, v. Stringer, 13; Armstrong, 20. v. Orr. 19; Tibbits, 28. v. Curtis, 9; Walder won by default; Tibbits won this section with five wins.
