SETTLING DIFFERENCES FRIENDLY EXPRESSIONS PARIS, Dec. 12 M. Berenger, president of the Foreign Affairs Commission, after conferring with Signor Mussolini at Rome regarding the approaching visit of M. Laval, Foreign Minister, declared that a settlement was imminent on outstanding Franco-Italian questions. M. Berenger added that the settlement would be accompanied by a declaration of friendship which would enable collaboration in regard to affairs in Europe and Africa.
