PARENTS' CLUB

ONEHUNGA KINDERGARTEN The value of kindergarten training and the need for continued co-operation by the mothers was stressed by Mrs. David Cuthbert, president of the Onehunga Free Kindergarten, at the final social and dance of the parents' committee held on Wednesday evening. A large number of parents and their friends attended and Mrs. G. Rawlinson, president of the committee, reviewed the activities of the year. Slio also handed over £37 10s,. the funds that the parents' committee had accumulated from socials, etc. In accepting the donation, Mrs. David Cuthbert reminded the gathering of the high standard set by the Onehunga Free Kindergarten. Although i2 children were now being, catered for, there was a large waiting list, and it was only by the efforts of such organisations as parents' clubs, etc., that additions could, be made to enable more children to be accommodated.
