A farmer's daughter receives a lift across ®.f ®'"' ® paddock near Hikurangi. 4, Another washout on the Kaikohe-Otiria railway line. 5. Inspecting the fences by boat on an inundated farm in the Jordan district, near-Hikurangi. The stock on this farm had to be hurriedly removed to near by hills, while a heavy crop of hay ready for cutting a * been destroyed.
