INJURIES PROVE FATAL
WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR The death occurred in the Auckland Hospital last evening of Mrs. Alice Brierly, aged 62, of 9 Schofield Street, City, who was injured in a motor accident. She suffered concussion and abrasions as a result of being struck by a car in Surrey Crescent on Monday \ LEVEL GROSSING ACCIDENT DRIVER OF CREAM LORRY [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] GISBORNE, \Vednes3ay The death occurred this morning of Mr. Harry Kelso, of Ormond, the driver of a cream lorry which collided with a train at the Makauri railway level crossing, on November 30. Makauri is six miles from Gisborne.
