DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS REGATTA AT AUCKLAND A decision to form a New Zealand Rowing Championship Club, under the auspices of the Auckland Rowing Association, for the purpose of controlling tho New Zealand rowing championships at Auckland on March 2 next year was reached at a special meeting of the association last night. Mr. A. C. Norden presided. A sub-committee, consisting 01 Messrs. R. Porter and D. &. Stotter, was appointed to draw up a set of rules. A tentative programme comprises the following races :—Youths' fours, first prize £lO, second prize £2; New Zealand champion single sculls, £lO and £2; light maiden'fours, £lO and £2- New Zealand champiouship fours, £lO and £5; open maiden fours, £l2 and £2; New Zealand championship double sculls, £l2 and £2;. junior fours (b. and b. boats). £l2 and £4; maiden eights, £lO and £2; New Zealand championship pair oar, £l2 and £2; consolation fours, Auckland Plate, £ls and £3.
