Dec. 12 A reaction after the recent advances overtook most of the prominent industrial issues on the Sydney Stork Exchange to-day. There was a general downward trend in the miscellaneous list, duo to profit-taking before the exchange closes for the Christmas vacation. Patterson, president of the Graziers' Association of Southern Riverina, Victoria, said that international trade agreements appeared to be the only measures by which Australia could gain outlets for its primary produce. "There is trouble ahead," said Mr. Patterson. "The primary producer in Britain is in exactly the same position as Australian producers, but he had not the same recuperative powers.
