GIRL STUDENTS ST. CUTHBERT'S COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AND SPORT "There are still many girls leaving school too early," states Miss L. Clouston, headmistress of St. Cuthbert's College, in her annual report, to be presented at the prize-giving this afternoon. "Many would benefit by an extra year or more, even if parents feel that their daughters are not scholars*" Knowledge learned from books is only one part of education, states Miss Clouston. Many valuable lessons can be learned by contact with other girls, and the value of discipline cannot be overestimated, especially in such times as the present, when children seem to take control of their own lives so early. Very satisfactory work has been done by the pupils both in the classroom and on the playing field during the year. * Following is the list of prizes;— FORM PRIZES I.—Good work. A.
