UNSETTLED WEATHER * COOLER TEMPERATURES The weather report and forecast f op • New Zealand, issued last evening bv the Government meteorologist, was as follows:—A depression is passing east of New Zealand, but a slight secondary depression is following it in the south. A moderate anti-cyclone, is advancing across the Tasman Sea. I cations are for rather variable winds at first, but southerlies later prevailing, moderate to strong. YESTERDAY'S WEATHER Auckland. —The weather was overcast and humid yesterday, occasional light showers being experienced. A light breeze was blowing from directions varying between north-east and west. The barometer was nearly normal last night, having ris£n ,10in during the 24 hours. Dunedin.—A light southerly wind and fine weather prevailed yesterday with passing cloud and sunshine. The maximum temperature was 70 degrees.
