CLAIM FOR £IOO
SUPREME COURT ACTION A sequel to business dealings was heard in the Supreme Court yesterday, before Air. Justice Smith, when a claim for €IOO, the amount of a promissory note, was made. Plaintiff was Alun Tyler Davies, contractor, of Kaipara Flats (Mr. Schramm), and defendant was Richard Thomas Wilkinson, manufacturer's representative, of Auckland (Mr. Newbcry). Defendant counter-claimed for £25 16s Id, the value of goods supplied. After hearing evidence, His Honor gave judgment for plaintiff on the claim for £IOO, with interest at 6 per cent and witness' expenses, and for defendant on the counter-claim, with costs according to scale.
