CONSTABLE'S RETIREMENT
[from ottr owx correspondent] RAGLAN, "Wednesday A farewell ceremony took place the Raglan Magistrate's Court to-dayv when reference was made to the wors of Constable J. O'Sullivan. who, after being stationed at Raglan for 23 rears, has now retired. Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., and Mr. F. W. Platts, formerly a stipendiary magistrate, who presided over the RBS* lan Court for many years, ma.de eulogistic references to Constable 0 Sullivan long and faithful service in the police force. Messrs. W. Gibbison, W. "V and T. Parker. J.P.'s, also spoke. i*egret at Constable 0 Sullivan s depaf* ture was expressed, and he was wish® o a happy retirement.
