MORRINSVILLE QUOTATIONS GOOD DEMAND FOR SHEEP The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, Hamilton, reports having' held its usual stock sale at Morrinsville on Friday, when a full yarding of beef, consisting mostly of cow beef, was penned. Ox beef was in good demand at late unchanged rates. Cow and heifer beef, which was mainly of second quality, found a poorer demand, but 110 alteration was recorded in values for prime quality. Fat sheep were penned in good numbers, and a good demand existed for all classes. The advertised lino of breeding ewes with lambs attracted a largo attendance, and bidding was very brisk, the lino averaging 28s 2d. The advertised lines of east coast store cattle also commanded attention from outside buyers. The demand throughout was keen and the whole yarding changed hands at very satisfactory quotations. Good quality baconera made £3 3s to £3 10s; medium weightß, £2 17s to £3 2s; light, £2 12a to £2 16s; heavy porkers, £2 9s to £2 lis; medium weights, £2 3s to £2 8b; light, 383 to £2 2s; heavy choppers. £2 5s to £2 10a; othera, 25s to 355. Competition for good farm horses and three-quarter draughts was good, and in most cases the vendors' reserves were exceeded. Light draughts wore not in keen demand, although several good values wore obtained. The majority of xhe hacks offered were only inferior horses, and did not coma up to vendors' reserves.
