CHARITY DAY MATCH COLTS DEFEAT TAMAKI There was a disappointing attendance at Carlaw Park on Saturday, when JUI Auckland colts team defeated the AucKland Taraaki Maori representatives by 29 points to 12. Adams won by a foot, with inches between eecoad and tuira. PRESENTATION OF CUP A silver cup was presented to the Auckland Rugby League at Carlaw Park on Saturday by Mr. R. P. Sharman of Messre George Court and bona, who is leavmg shortly for England. Mr. J; Smith, who handed over the trophy on behalf of the donor, said Mr. Sharman wished to leavejm Auckland a happy recollection of his association with League football, and the wish that there should oe a competition of special interest for the cup. Mr. G. Grey Campbell, chairman of the Auckland Rugby League, gratefully ackßowledged the trophy. He said it would be com peted for in a competition worthy of iM value and the. good wishes expressed by Mr. Sharman.
