KINGSFORD SMITH ARRIVAL AT BRISBANE (Received October 19. 7.*15 p.m.) ' • 7 SYDNEY. Oct. 19 Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and oaptain Taylor left Mascot aerodrome, Sydney, to-day for Brisbane shortly after noon . They had been delayed through the necessity of replacing a broken wireless aerial. The Lady Southern Cross is described as perfectly conditioned for the proposer! Pacific flight. Sir Charles expressed t,:e utmost confidence in the success of the venture. i The airmen reached Brisbane at 3.30 p.m.
