"MARIE GALANTE"
PRIX DE ROME NOVEL " Marie Galante," the Fox Film production with Spencer Tracy and Ketti Gallian in the leading roles, has been completed and is in the cutting room for final edition The story, adapted from the Prix de Rome novel of the same title, is the first picture ever screened in which the Panama Canal Zone is used as the background. In addition to Tracy and Miss Gallian, a French actress who is making her screen debut in this production, the cast includes Ned Sparks, Helen Morgan, Siegfried Runiann, Robert Loraine, Leslie Fenion, Arthur Byron, Jay C. Flippen and Stepin Fetchit. Henry King directed and Winfield Sheehan was the producer.
