GARBO'S EARLY LIFE
SWEDISH FILM EFFORT Greta Gar bo, the great Swedish film actress, has offered £2500 for a film depicting incidents in her early life to prevent it being shown publicly. The film was made by a young Stockholm cameraman, Leonard Clairmont. It shows Greta's childhood and the barber's shop where she lathered and shaved customers. Clairmont, it is stated, has refused her offer, which was made in conjunction with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, expecting to receive more by showing the film.
