Jackson Gregory has undoubtedly qualified for the first flight of crime fiction writers with his Paul Savoy scries. His latest, " The Third Case of Mr. Paul Savoy," will further enhance his reputation for writing an "intelligent " mystery. A cleverly conceived plot logics,lly worked to a satisfactory conclusion with well drawn characters makes first-class reading. There is not so much ok" the seeming mystic recourse to Mr. Savoy's famous sapphire in this case, but the clues that all crime story readers revel in are disregarded in the manner of his two previous cases.
