FOR HAGGARD SKINS
For the woman whose skin is looking dull, or inclined to be spotty, a cup of camomile tea the last thing at night and before breakfast in the morning will clear it as if by magic. To make camomile tea, you take from five to seven " heads." Infuse for ten minutes, and then sweeten and drink as hot as possible. Also, it is well to leave off unsuitable soaps. After a month of this treatment with a daily and nightly application of a good soothing cream, you will see a remarkable change in the texture of your skin. A mild astringent should also be used. The natural oil found in many flowers and leaves is very good for the skin. It is for this reason that oil of mint mixed with equal parts of glycerine, and a little alcohol, is a harmless and excellent astringent. Women who have undergone a severe course of reducing, and on whose faces, in consequence, the skin seems to hang loosely, will find that the surplus skin seems to disappear under a few applications of this lotion.
