TWO CONTESTS
Native Leaves.—Make a loose leaf scrap-book containing pressed leaves of up to 20 varieties of native trees or plants, giving the popular name of each if possible. If you want your book returned, say so in note enclosed and don't forget to send the stamps for postage. Cash prize, five shillings, for best book, which must be done specially for this contest.
For Our Artists Cash prize, five shillingis, for best painting of group of not less than three varieties of native flowers. Also consolation prizes, gold and silver stars. , Closing date, October 31 for hot contests Entries should he folded and posted flat, not rolled. Mark envelope 3 "Native Flower Contest."
