OPOTIKI CLUB ELECTION OF OFFICERS [bv telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI. Friday The annua! meeting of the Opotiki Rowing Club was well attended, Mr. J. Coote presided. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron. Mr. S. M. Jephson; president, Mr. W. T. Burrett; vice-presidents, Messrs. Chatfield. G. Dawson, V. Savage, J. Smith, A. Stephenson. F. Oswald, W. Cresswell; coach, Mr. N. V. Hodgson; starters, Messrs, G. L. Day and Chatfield; judge, Mr. M. Kearney; captain. Mr. J. Coote: vice-captain, Mr. V. Mulhern; treasurer, Mr. B. Mansell; secretary. Mr. P. Fox; committee, Messrs. B. Mulhern, Nfewdick. C. Wolfenden. Hickey and Burgess. Ten new members were elected.
