BENEFICIAL RAIN
AUSTRALIAN STATES SYDNEY, Oct. IT Splendid rain has fallen over almost the whole of New South Wales and two-thirds of Queensland. Reports from the country stato that crops are flourishing, and sheep and cattle are in fine condition. Wheat areas have greatly benefited.
