ELLERSLIE FUNCTION

RETURNED SOLDIERS' DANCE The annual dance of the Ellerslie Ex-servicemen's Association, held in St. Mary's Hall, Ellerslie, was a highlysuccessful function. Over 150 members and friends were welcomed by the president, Mr. H. Lan Simson, and Mrs. Simson, who wore a frock of green crinkle crepe. Excellent music was provided by an orchestra undei; the direction of Mrs. J. Hall. The programme was directed by Mr. G. F. Johnson. During the supper interval extras were played by Miss C. Christmas. Supper was served under the direction of a ladies' committee comprising Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Corbett and Miss Corbett. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. G.
