WEATHER MAINLY FAIR r MODERATE RAIN IN SOUTH The weather report and forecast f or New Zealand issued last evening the Government meteorologist was a & follows: A westerly depression of slight, intensity is advancing from the Tasm ail Sea and is beginning to cross tho South Island. The indications are f or moderate to strong northerly winds at, first, except "in the far south, and freshening' at times.
