CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
AUCKLAND GUN CLUB The Auckland Gun Club held a meeting at Pakuranga on Saturday. Excellent weather conditions and ft good attendance of members and friends were contributing factors to r.n outstanding afternoon's sport. Following aro tho results; — Eye-opener Match, of seven birds.—L. Ramsey (18yds), C. Hodge (18yds 1 ). and R. Nehoff (14yds), shot seven birds and divided the stake. Trophy Match of 15 birds, for Mr. M. H. Tisdall's trophy.—M. McCallum shot tho possible and took first money. I. Lomas (15yds), L. Ramsey (18yds), and W. Turner (lGyds) shot 14 birds, and divided second and third money. Novelty Shoot, of ten birds.—F. H. Seccombe shot eight birds and took first money. P. Chalmers shot seven birds, securing second place. L. Ramsey snot six birds and took third money. Double-rise Match, of ten birds—L. Ramsev (14yds) shot nine birds and took first money. M. McCallum (14yds) shot eight birds and secured second money. Special Double-rise Match, oil 20yds. ten birds.—This match was won by M McCallum, who shot eight birds, while F. H. Seccombci, seven birds, and L. Ramsey, nve birds, filled the next two places.
