ALBERT PARK
f5i rt —At the present time the Welles. ll lev Street slope of Albert Park is very i| beautiful with its new spring verdure 4|| and all who look at it cannot but j adinirc it. Tho park, however, is <juit© J spoilt bv what remains of i:lie old iron | fencing and unnecessary concrete gate, posts, and the gatepost at the corner of Princes Street could be removed with great advantage from an aesthetic point of view. We are expecting a great influx of tourists and visitors to our city during the Duke of Gloucester's visit, and I am sure an improvement ' J here' would lie greatly appreciated. If the band rotunda were modernised and painted would it not be also a great improvement.. X.Y.Z.
