DUKE OF GLOUCESTER i_ VOYAGE TO AUSTRALIA CRUISER NEARS FREMANTLE CROWDS NOW ASSEMBLING By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright PERTH, Oct, 2 There has been a tremendous influx of visitors to Perth and to Fremantle, awaiting the arrival of the Duko of Gloucester. A wireless message from the cruiser Sussex states that she is loss than 800 miles fronj Fremantle, and, being well within schedule, her speed has been reduced to 12 knots. The Duke of Gloucester is fit and keenly interested and enthusiastic concerning his tour of Australia and New Zealand. Sir Alan Anderson, chairman of the Orient Company, who arrived at Fremantle to-day by the Otranto, intimated that the Duke will launch the new Orient liner Orion by wireless from Brisbane on December 7. The Sussex is scheduled to arrive at Fremantle to-morrow.
