METHODIST YOUNG WOMEN
An instructive programme was presented at the monthly meeting of the Methodist Young Women's Club held on Monday evening in the Pitt Street parlour, libe president, Mrs. E. 1). Patchett, presided. Mrs. Harold King held the interest of the audience throughout her talk on "Maori Lore and Legends." By descriptive poi dances and Maori songs, several of wnich were composed by the speaker., a fuller understanding oi l the subiect was conveyed. Mrs. W. H.'MacKinney was a sympathetic accompanist, and also contributed an interesting account of her recent tour of the Far East. The moving of a vote of thanks to the speaker by Miss I. Buttle was carried with enthusiasm.
