THE CLASSIC CLUB
A varied and interesting programme was presented at a meeting of the Classic Club held last evening in the Overseas League rooms. The president, Dr. Kenneth Phillips, presided. Classical and operatic arias, lieder, modern and old English songs, Irish songs and pianoforte and violin solos comprised the programme, which was received with warm appreciation. Contributing items were: —Mr. James Ramsav, Miss Lillian Kennedy, Mrs. Alfred Pascoe, Mr. Henry Donaldson, Mr. Alan Pow, Miss Helen Gray and Miss Irene Rich.
